For principals and deputy principals

Your whole school's planning, on one screen

The redeveloped curriculum makes this the hardest planning year in a generation. Pleanáil gives every teacher their own planning portal and gives you a live picture of the school you can open any morning.

Your school at a glance

Every teacher's plans and every Cúntas Míosúil, complete or in progress, on one screen. No end-of-month chasing.

The whole-school plan, in every classroom

Set your enactment area and agreed sequences once. They flow into every teacher's long-term plan, so the whole-school curriculum plan is what the school actually teaches.

Inspection-ready, any day

The coherence an inspector reads for is there across the school in a click, with the school name and crest on every exported plan.

Your staff, set up in minutes

Add a teacher and they are planning against the right curriculum for their class instantly. A new colleague mid-year comes in at no extra cost.

How schools come on board

1

Trial the portal with your real school

We set up the principal portal and a seat for every teacher, free for 30 days, no card and no commitment. You see your own staff list, your own enactment area, your own plans coming in.

2

One invoice, if it earns its place

One annual fee based on staff size, invoiced to the school on 45-day terms. Most schools cover it from the discretionary budget, and schools joining in 2026/27 keep their price locked for 3 years.

3

Everyone planning the same week

Teachers log in and the curriculum for their class is already there. A dedicated onboarding call is included, and mid-year staff changes are sorted at renewal.

Bring your existing plans with you

Already have whole-school curricular plans, or teachers with year plans in another planning tool? Send us the documents and we set your school up with them. Your plans come across word for word, mapped to the curriculum, so teachers can plan from them on day one.

Multigrade planning was always the hard part, one plan covering two class levels without writing everything twice. Pleanáil handles that properly. As principal I have the whole school's planning in one place, with the Cúntas Míosúil built from the plans instead of another Sunday-night job.

Questions principals ask

What do my teachers get?

Everything in the Solo Teacher plan: fortnightly, weekly and monthly plans, long-term plans, the Cúntas Míosúil generated from their plans, SET and multigrade planning, and clean PDF and Word exports.

Can I see teachers’ plans as they work?

You see each teacher's completed plans and Cúntais and where things stand across the school. Every teacher's work stays their own - Pleanáil is a way to see the school's planning come together and reach the colleague who is stuck.

How does billing work?

One annual invoice based on staff size: €149 for the principal portal (which covers the principal, including a teaching principal’s own class) plus €45 per teacher, VAT included. Add a teacher or two during the year and we catch up at renewal.

Where is our data stored?

On servers within the EU, fully GDPR compliant, with nightly backups. We never share or sell school data, and the planning tool holds no pupil records.
